PHOTOGRAPHY_
In order to promote a real contact with these real people, it is key to be present without being a burden. We need to be light. We will count on a small crew of talented and sensitive professionals. People that know how to do a lot with very little, because we must have a small footprint to capture what is really happening there: the emotions, the lines, the feelings that surface.
I will rely on my experience as a director and a photographer to get the most of what each room has to offer, i.e., natural light, best angle, best position. It is a film in which we must capture whatever takes place in front of us without forcing anything. That does not mean some stimuli will not be made. In fact, that is the role of an experienced director, to lead everything towards a place in which the best expressions will flourish.
